Last night saw the first open meeting with regards to the Hiraethog Development Strategy led by Eirian Jones, Menter Iaith Conwy who has been appointed to co-ordinate the delivery of the action plan within the strategy. The meeting was held at Canolfan Bro Cernyw, Llangernyw and representatives from Community Councils from within the Hiraethog area were invited to attend.
The Hiraethog Development Strategy is a collaborative project between the two Local Action Groups (LAG’s) in Conwy and Denbighshire being Conwy Cynhaliol and Cadwyn Clwyd.
The aim of the strategy is to sustain and develop Hiraethog as a place where people want to and are able to live, work and play utilising and sustaining the areas unique natural environment, landscape, heritage and culture.
The next open meeting will be held at Glan y Llyn Inn, Clawddnewydd at 6pm on the 20th of February.
